The City of Fulton Animal Control Officer works through the Fulton Police Department. This office is responsible for handling various animal-related complaints, including lost and missing pets, dangerous dog complaints, and nuisance animals. The Animal Control Officer is also the enforcement officer for violations of state and local law relating to animals.



Paul Cooper - Animal Control Officer

Paul Cooper has served as the Animal Control Officer for the City of Fulton since 1999. His duties include enforcing the various state laws and City Code pertaining to dogs, cats and other animals. Mr. Cooper is a sportsman with interests in hunting and fishing, has handled hunting dogs for several years, and founded the Oswego County chapter of Ducks Unlimited in the 1970's.
