Canine

The Fulton Police Department has a long history of police canines, and up until recently, had the only canine and canine handler of all the law enforcement agencies in Oswego County.  Canines in law enforcement are a very valuable tool for drug detection and suspect tracking.  Fulton PD's latest canine team is Ofc Jarrett Marino and Meki, a German Shepard.  The pair often assist other police agencies with investigation when requested.

Ofc. Jarrett Marino completed his training with Meki in May 2013 and assigned to the patrol division.  Ofc Marino is a well-decorated 5 year patrolman with the Fulton Police Department.  In 2013, he received the City of Fulton's Police Officer of the Year Award.  Meki is fully certified in narcotics detection as well as building searches, tracking, handler protection, and suspect apprehension.
