Fulton Police Remind Motorists To Not Follow Too Closely

Fulton Police Urge Safety During Halloween

Traffic Safety Award
September 21, 2011

On September 21st the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board had their annual Traffic Safety Champion Awards Luncheon.  Among the several award recipients was Officer Jarrett Marino of the Fulton Police Department.  Officer Marino enforces the vehicle and traffic law aggressively and leads the department in traffic tickets issued and DWI arrests.

Speed Limit Changed On a Portion of SR 481 in Fulton
April 12, 2011

At the request of the Fulton Police Department, the New York State Department of Transportation recently conducted a study to determine if it would be justified to lower the speed limit on SR 481 near the north end of the City of Fulton.  It was determined that a portion of the highway would be lowered from 45 mph to 35 mph.

Fulton Police to Participate in "Operation Safe Stop"
March 23, 2011

On March 30, 2011 Fulton Police, along with other law enforcement agencies around the state will participate in Operation Safe Stop.  This is a program in which proactive enforcement of vehicles passing school buses will take place.

Fulton Police Department Earns AAAs Highest Award in Traffic Safety
March 5, 2011

The City of Fulton Police Department was honored by AAA with their highest award for Traffic Safety, their Platinum Award.  Fulton was one of only eight police department in New York State to earn this honor for 2010.
